01 ENTRYWAY St. Andrew is a new church east of Philadelphia situated in a wooded setting and framed by earth berms and landscaping. The overall guiding theme is that of Creation. The theme is constant throughout the building rather than having a series of unrelated windows. The entryway window represents the connection between heaven and earth by the symbol of a ladder. It ascends into the sky and through the clouds into a region of celestial spheres. Above all is an arched heavenly canopy. © James B. Furman
